Approach
The AWB pyramid
Build from the base. Profit is the result.
Six levels. Every engagement starts at the base — the right people in the right seats, then their tools, systems and process.
What we do
Most consultancies pick one. We do all three.
Most shops work in sequence — fix the people, then the process, then buy the technology. By the time the third one starts, the first has drifted. Nothing compounds.
Technology is where it shows. A platform dropped onto a broken process automates the break and bills you monthly for it. A process written without the people who run it gets worked around by the second week.
Run separately, they’re three projects.
Run together, they’re a business.
How we work
Three ways in — from a first location to a six-hundredth.
For the owner whose numbers stopped making sense, and the operator with six hundred locations drifting apart.
- Operational diagnostic and root cause
- Workforce and labor model correction
- Process standardization across sites
- Governance that holds the fix in place
For the founder opening the first door, and the enterprise standing up a business line from zero.
- Business case and concept design
- Workforce architecture from zero
- Process, tooling, and technology selection
- Proof of concept to pilot to market
Expansion after proof of concept is driven from the base up. Change management and adoption are what carry it — and people and process are what build it.
- Scaled the labor model from proof of concept
- Scaled the telemetry project
- Internet of Things (IoT (Internet of Things)) partnership with a technology company and an installer
How we work together
Four ways to engage.
Pick the model that fits the work. Every engagement starts with a scope in writing.
- 01
Initiative set + retainer
We scope a set of initiatives with clear deliverables, then a set monthly retainer covers the build, the rollout and the handoff.
Best for multi-month programs and turnarounds
Example
A six-month contract with two goals: grow the top line 10% within three months, and reduce overhead by consolidating vendors and duplicate systems. One set monthly retainer, with the deliverables and dates written into the statement of work.
- 02
Hourly advisory
Working sessions, reviews and straight answers, billed by the hour. No long commitment.
Best for a focused question or a second set of eyes
Example
You name the project and we agree the scope. AWB works it and submits hours monthly — you see exactly what was done and what it cost.
- 03
Paid on results
A fee tied to a percentage of measured improvement. We agree the baseline, the measure and the period in writing first.
Best for labor, cost, speed or revenue gains you can measure
Example
Labor as a percent of sales, measured against a written baseline. The fee is an agreed share of the savings actually measured over the period — no improvement, no fee.
- 04
Partnership & subscription
Ongoing support, tools on subscription, or a shared investment in something we build together.
Best for long-term operators and new ventures
Example
A monthly subscription to the tools and dashboards we built, support included — or a shared investment in a new location or product.
